Kirkpatriok of Fines Creek lost six of his cattle during Satur day afternoon's storm. They were struck and killed by lightning in their pasture near Madison Coun ty and Betsy Gap. ? i * ? Mr. and Mrs. Vance Ilolbrook have installed a new bathroom, screened their porch and bought a new electric stove. Robert and Sain Ferguson have just finished concreting their trench silos. Friends of Grover Ferguson are very pleased to know that he is hack home from the hospital and not seriously hurt. He was injured when his tractor turned over. The new home of Lois Ferguson will soon be completed, as work men hope to have it done within another week. It is being built by Henry Price and Bob Mintz of Waynesville. Mr. and Mrs, Reeves Ferguson and daughter Nancy have moved back to their home on Fines Creek from Ashland. V'a. Mrs. Eleanor Noland spent sev eral days last week with her cous ins.
