| WHERE IS THE HEAD OFFICE OF WELLCO - RO - SEARCH? "
People are constantly asking us the same question. It seems that prac
tically no one believes that a world wide organization with affiliated fac
tories in over sixty countries can be run from anywhere but a large met
ropolis such as New York, Chicago, London or Paris.
That is certainly not the case with Wellco -Ro-Serach. All the "head" and
our only "office" are right here in Waynesville, N. C. Our local people produce
all the ideas and most of the machinery for our foreign affiliates. Repre
sentatives from all parts of the world come here periodically to be
trained and to take back with them our American production "know-how"
and the spirit of our American way of doing business. Especially the spirit of
labor - management relations.
Our foreign friends also learn that the reason for our very high standard
of living is due to the fact that not only is the American worker the highest
paid in the world, but that he or she is also treated with respect. The mutual re
spect of labor and management makes possible the constantly growing
benefits for all.
