Although the Bears have lost three this season (twice to Lee Edwards and once to Asheville ! School), they will be favored to ' hand the Mountaineers their first defeat. Although WTIIS has hung up seven consecutive victories, they have yet to meet a top-flight quintet, while Canton has opposed five powerhouses. Despite their 0-3 record with Buncombe teams, the Black Bears have whiooed rugged Henderson ville and Bethel and appear to com pare favorably with the county chamnion team of 1953-54.
