Jr., who is directing a jurisdictional study course for Methodist women of the Haywood County Subdlstrlct, has announced the program for the | last two sessions of the course which will be held tonight and Thursday night. L. Prevost. Mrs. McMurray, who was intro duced by Miss Catherine Colhoun. spoke on the United Nations, us ing as her subject, "America at the Crossroads ? Freedom or Tyran ny'.'" She discussed the dangers of ? World Government, stating that with World Government the con stitution of the United States could not protect this country and the United States could .always be out voted. She quoted Dr. Nelson Bell as saying that everyone wants peace but the righteous should survive even with war. Mrs. James L. Woman's Club Group Plans New Project A meeting of the International Relations Group of the Waynes viile Woman s Club was held Thursday afternoon in the home of miss Pearl Harris. The group discussed plans for a project to bring a German girl to this country for the summer. The girl under consideration is thirteen years of age and has taken part in the Passion Piay at Oberamroer gau. She is making a study of the English language and has been in correspondence with Miss Ethel McCoy. The plan calls for the Wo man's Club group to finance her passage to the United States and Miss McCoy will have her at Camp Junaluska for Girls for the sum mer. Johnson, Jr., of South America, the Rev. Joseph Johnspn of High Point, and Miss Pearl Lesley Johnson. They also have four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
