T. E. Robinett, pastor of the First Baptist Church, was the .speaker at the first fall meet ing of the Dorcas Bell Love Chap ter, Daughters of the American Revolution. His subject.was "What The Constitution Means To You". Mr. Robinett discussed the mean ing of the constitution politically, spiritually, and socially. He was introduced by Mrs. R. N. Barber, who planned the program in prep | a ration for Constitution Week. I which will be celebrated Septem ber 17-23. The meeting was held Friday af ternoon with Mrs. J. F. Swift was named dele gate to the district DAR meeting which will be held in Marion next month. Mrs. James R. Boyd announced that she had sent several Boxes of clothing to Crossnore and made an appeal for more donations to be included in a box which she is pre paring to send. Mrs. J. W.
