Jr.. ol i M ayflesville won the honors at the J annual flower show and vegetable -,iow held Friday in the Waynes- 1 vtLe High Sehool cafeteria. 1 Airs, t agle received the tri color award tor the best horticul ture specimen, a gloxinia, which was also judged the best exhibit h the show. "A Scenic Wonder land," was carried out with hun dreds of exhibits of fibwers and vegetables, and a special arrange ment of trees and rhododendron as a selling for a picnic table. The home demonstration clubs of Haywood County showed ex hibits of their outstanding achieve i cats in handcrafts. Representa tives of the clubs demonstrated rug hi aiding, copper tooling, torn paper pictures, and. basketry The Haywood County Library displayed books-on gardening in a special exhibit, "Gardening T hrough Our Library," The ribbon winners in Division I.
