Nancy Bischoff Is Awarded Traineeship Miss Nancy Bischoff has Leei awarded a professional nurs< traineeship for study in the DuK? University School of Nursing. S'm is one of eight graduate nurse: selected to receive traineeshipi totalling $25,600 The traineeship' vere granted as part of a two million-dollar nationwide progranr authorized by Congress last July. The Morning Star met in the afternoon in the home of Mr*. Ralph Miller with Mrs Ralph Gib son as co-hostess. Mr*. Howard Cole presided and Mr*. Charlie Mease gave the dem onstration. The Lakeside Club met Monday ni^ht in the HF.A Kitchen with Mrs Maurice Williams and Mr*. Homer Justice, Jr. as hostesses. Mrs. Rankin Ferguson presided and final plans were made for Achievement Day. Mr*. Troy Boyd gave an ac count of the program at the un veiling of the portrait of John Hay v.nod and Mr*. A. II. Hunt gave the demonstration. The Good Neighbors of Center Pigeon also met Monday night. The meeting was held in the home of Mrs. Orse Henderson with Mr*. Jimos Cook as co-hostess and Mr*. Haynes Henson presided Mr*. R G.
