Bd*aa4 , ' T AN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBIT, featuring displays by all of the county's home demonstration clubs, occupied the central portion of the armory this week at the annual Achievement l>av program displays featured themes of foreign nations studied by these various clubs this year. Among articles on exhibits were flags, maps, dolls dtessed in native cotume, and foods prepared from recipes of the different foreign countries. At her first press conference, re porters asked why Mrs. Uick and per husband, a manufacturer of mimeograph equipment and both long-time Republicans, had switch ed to the Democratic front. "My husband and I are longtime personal friends of Mr. Steven son's," Mrs. Dick said. "We sup ported his candidacy for governor of Illinois. We think he made a fine record as governor. And the longer I worked with the Demo cratic party on Mr. Stevenson's be half, the more I realized that whal ths party stood for was nearer my own philosophy of government."
