serve Act of 1995. all physically
fit male citizens of the United
States, have an obligated service
of six years which may be partially
fulfilled as a member of a re
serve unit. Other features of the
naval reserve include a days pay
for each two hour drill, points
toward retirement after twenty
years and a two weeks training
cruise each year which visits many ,
foreign ports enabling reservists to !
erijoy shore liberty in some of
the most famous places in the
world.
Division 6-18 <M> also has several
billets open for ex-Navy men
These men may be enlisted at the
rate they held at the time of then
discharge. All Korean veterans,
regardless of rate, may be recruited
fcr one year with the opportunity
to change rates at that time in
order to qualify for a rate which
can be assigned by 6-18tM>
