Mr. Bowles discussed tho organi
zation of ihe school district with
regard to the number of pupils and
teacher*. He pointed out the im
portance of regular school attend
ance on the nart of the pupils since
the teacher assignment is based on
the average attendance for the best
six month* of tlie school year.
Me mentioned a shift in popula
tion from rural districts to towns,
which Is tending to increase en
rollment in th?- town school*. In

1 egg, slightly beaten
Toss bread cubes together with
sage, salt and pepper. Melt butter
in a skillet Add onion and celery.
Cook over low beat until onion be

retary to the administrator of the
Haywood County hospital. Mr
Burch was graduated from State
College, Raleigh and is now asso
ciated with Hospital Care Associa
