ALUMNAE MEETING- The Duplin County Alumnae As sociation of W. C. of U. N. C. met at the home of Mrs. C. F. Hawes in Rosehill on Tuesday afternoon. The purpose of this meeting was the observance of the 45th birth day of the college. After some time had been spent in talking of college days and singing college songs, the birthday cake was cut and served with ice cream, ' Mrs. Hawes and Mrs. E. G. Murray serv ed the cake and ice cream. Rosehill Postal Receipts Nearing All-Time Record With another increase '- shown last month, Bosehfll's postal re ceipts for 1937 give fromise of soaring well above the present sal ary basis. If the average monthly increase continues, receipts for the year will be the highest in some years. ' Beceipta for September showed an increase in stamp sales of $186. 62 over August and $175.71 over the same month of 1936.
