SUBSCRIPTION AGENT , Dial 8988 Miss Albertson Bride Of Richard Bostic Miss Virginia Albertson of War saw and Beulaville was wed to Richard Bostic, of Beulaville, in a quiet and simple ceremony at 8 o'clock on Wednesday, July 11, in the Beulaville Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Fitzgerald, uncle of the bride, officiating. The church was decorated with white gladioli and fern and the bride entered unattended, attired In a handsome street dress of na vy blue with which she. used white accessories. She wore a shoulder corsage of orchids. Mrs. Bostic, the daughter of Mrs. L. J. Albertson and the late Mr. Albertson of Beulaville, at tended the Beulaville School and 'for the past three years has been employed with the Warsaw office of the Caroina Telephone and 'Telegraph Co. Mf. Bostic is the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Bostic, of Beulaville, and returned June 27th to receive a discharge from the United States Army after having served three years in the African and Italian campaigns with the Army Engineers. Rivenbark has written his wife from his base near Reims, France, that he will be sta ' tioned in the Area of Occupation for the next 12 or 15 months. He was with Gen Simpson's 9th Army on V-Day in Germany and on May 16, was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and Citation. i Sgt. Raymond Voyght Ridge, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Ridge, Rt. 2, arrived home July 4 from England, where he had been re ceiving hospital care for wounds received March 16 in Germany. Sgt. Ridge was with a Tank Bat talion in the Third Army. Sgt. R. T. Blackman, Jr., is home on furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Blackman. He has been overseas two years and saw action in Germany.' 1st. Lt. W. H. Freeman and wife have been visiting in Warsaw. He received his Naval papers last week to report to Ft. Eustice, Va. Lt. Freeman, a native of Leaksville, received his Doctor's degree in Medicine last Septem ber from the Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, and has since been interning in New Jersey. Sgt. Ben Bartlett, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Bartlett, Jr., is home after receiving a medical discharge from the USMC. He was in the Pacific before returning to the Naval Hospital, Charleston, S. Quinn on College St., honoring Mrs. Gordon McSwain of San Antonio, Texas, nee Miss Lewellen Best, who is visiting her father, D. E. Best. The spacious Quinn home was ensuite and decorated with attrac tive placements of flowers and made a lovely setting for the four luncheon table.
