Treasury Department Announce Birth Captain and Mrs. W. B. Low- rance of Nashville, Tenn., announ ce the birth of a son, William Bel linger, Jr., on Oct. 27, 1945. Mrs. Lowrance is the former Miss Pauline Bostic of Warsaw and Raeford. She resided for two years in Warsaw while her hus band was stationed at Camp Da vis. W S C S Meets The W S C S met Wednesday evening in the Methodist church with each of the two circles hold ing brief business periods and la ter adjourning to the Upper Room where they met in Joint session. Mrs. H. H. Hipp, President, pre sided and gave the report of the nominating committee for the no mination of officers for next year. She also read a letter from Rev. A. S. Bonds, Supt. of the Method ist Orphanage in Raleigh, thank ing the society for the money sent for Tommy Albright's clothes. Tommy is the orphan this society has "been clothing for several years. JJ With The Sick Mrs. C. J. Brown, who has been 111 at her home for two weeks with typhus fever, is steadily impro ving. Jo Ann Britt was confined to her home several days this week with a severe cold, A. L. Cavenaugh has returned from the Charlotte Hospital and is now able to be at his work. He expecte id be home soon, i Judson Rea, III, was home from Norfolk with his parents during the holidays. Allen Draughon, Jr., will arrive today from Ft. Pierce, Fla., to vis it his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Draughon. Pfc. Luther Bradshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Bradshaw of Rt. 2, Warsaw, was discharged from the Army Oct. 20, at Bragg, after serving in France and Ger many for 18 months. , Sgt. Page Johnson, son of Mrs. Charlie Johnson arrived home on Tuesday with his discharge. He served with the Army in Iceland for over two years and was re cently in Germany. PERSONALS Robert c. Pridgen, Jr., arrived u Monday from the Philippines to spend a furlough with his mother, Mrs. R. C Pridgen. ; His sister, Miss Martha Pridgen, of Smith field School Faculty, also was home for the week end. Mr. and Mrs. H. M.
