The North Carolina State Nur ses' Association is happy to an nounce that the Counseling and Placement Service, which was in augurated January 1st, is ready to go into -action throughout the State. In order to reach all nurses, five cities have been selected to serve as local contacts for this ser vice, AshevUle, Charlotte, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, and Wilmington. In each city a local person has been selected as Secretary of Counseling Service, whose duty it is to make appointments for con ferences with the State Counselor, and also to eive out available in formation concerning this service to an those who nurse or expect to make nursing their profession, and also to all employers of nurses. For the Central Area, inciucung Districts 5, 6, 7, and 8 of the North Carolina State Nurses Association, the Headquarters Office in Ral eigh will serve for the location center.
