For the 24 months of 1945-46
new and pending plants and expan
sions totaled 1,228, investment es
timated at $189,793,500, added Jobs
around 80,982 and total new pay
rolls estimated at $123,574,618.
Of the 450 new and pending In
dustries reported since July 1, 19
46, 131 will employ from one to 10
persons; 185 will employ up to 25;
84 win employ up to 50; 32 will em
ploy up to 100; 16 will employ up
to 250, and 2 intend to employ more
than 251.
