The Friendly Club was organized
at the home of Mrs. Herbert Brock
on March 12. This brings the total
number of clubs to 24 in the county.
There were 18 members present
Th4 following oficers were elected;
Pres. - Mrs. Fred Revelle; Vice
Pres. Mrs. Ralph Veach; and Sec
treas. - Mrs. O. L. Holland, all of
Warsaw. The club will meet the
1st Friday of each month.

Grady Class Goes
To Raleigh
On March 13, the Biology Class
from B. F. Gradv went on an ed
ucational and sightseeing trip to
Raleigh.
They went to the Hall of Histarv.
state Museum, state Capitol, where
they saw Governor Cherry, the
House of Representatives, and the
Senate. The bus took them to the
State Prison, State Hospital, Mere
dith and State College.
They ate dinner in the S. & W.
Cafeteria and then went to the
WPTF Studios and heard the "Tar
Heel Farm Journal,' then went
shopping before leaving for home.
On the way home, supper was
eaten at Griffin's in Goldsboro af
ter which a picture show was en
joyed before leaving Goldsboro.
