Rina Mold has spread generally
through the southern and eastern
part of Duplin County during tne
past week. The supply of .Fermate
has been exhausted and there Is
no encouragement that more will
be available during this spring.

Subsalicylate Is available for spray
ing for blue mold. This material
has given good results where pro
perly applied.
Vatsol which Is used with this
material for a . spreader is not
available, but 70 rubbing alco
hol can be substituted.
Bismuth Subsalicylate may be
prepared as follows: 12 ounces of
Bismuth Subsalicylate, 1 pint of
70 rubbing alcohol, and 50 gal
lons of water. Place Bismuth Sub
salicylate and alcohol in jar. add
some water and shake well. When
thoroughly mixed pour this solution
into the required amount of water
and keep well stirred while spray
ing. '
