and wife, Iola Kenan Shaw and
Nancy Shaw will take notice that
an action entitled as above has been
commenced in the Superior Court
of Duplin County by the plaintiffs
for the purpose of selling the lands
described in the petition in this
cause for partition in which the de
dendant Matt Shaw owns a one
seventh undivided interest and the
plaintiffs D. W. Swirison and wife,
Alice B. Swinson own a six-seven
ths undivided interest and that the
nature and size of said lands is
such that an actual partition there
of cannot be made without injury
to the several persons interested
therein; that the defendants Matt
Shaw, Iola Kenan Shaw and Nancy
Shaw will further take notice that
they are required to appear at the
office of the Clerk of Superior
Court of Duplin County in the
court house in Kenansville, North
Carolina on the 2nd day of June,
1947 and answer or demur to the
petition which was filed in said
office on the 18th day of February,
1945, on or before the 16th day of
June, 1947 or the plaintiffs will
apply to the court for the relief
demanded in said complaint.
