The 25th anniversary of the wo
man's auxiliary of the Hallsville
Presbyterian Church was celebra
ted Saturday afternoon at the
church, with' the president, Mrs.
Ashe Miller, presiding. Guests were
members of the Grove auxiliary,
Mrs. Ottis Miller gave the devoti
onal and Mrs. Morris Grady, a talk
on the topic, Brothers or Bombs,
which was very interesting. Pound
cake and punch were served from
a beautifully arranged table center
ed with a crystal bowl of pink
roses. Mrs. Andrew Miller presid
ed over the punch bowl and Mrs,
David Ressie Smith served cake. -

sage of red carnations.
The bride is a member of the
1947 graduating class of BHS. Tie
groom received his education at the
Richlands High School and State
College. He served in the Army
for two years during World Wir II
and Is at present connected with
the Oetinger Furniture Co., of Kln
ston. They will make their home
