Mrs. L. M. Holloway
In the passing of Mrs. L. W. Hol
loway, 70, our town and community
feel that they have lost a most loy
al friend. Many expressed her life
thus: "She "was the best person."
She was the wife of the late Rev.
Lloyd M. Holloway, Baptist minis
ter, who held his last pastorate
here. He is remembered for his
useful and untiring works - espec
ially during the years of "depress-
ion". After his death, Mrs. Hollo
way made her home in Cameron,
S. ,C, with her brother, J. O. Wes
ner, Sr., She had been in declining
health for 2 years. She died in the
Tri-County Hospital, Orangebur"
S. C, Tuesday morning, May 20 at
10 o'clock. ,: ,:
Funeral services were conducted
from the Hallsville Baptist Church
Thursday morning. Rev. N. E.
Gresham of Jacksonville and Rev.
A. L. Brown officiated.
