Nobles of Deep Run, died in the
hospital at the Cherry Point Marine
Air Station around midnight Sat
urday from injuries suffered in a
collision near the air base on Sep
tember- 7. -
- Young Nobles was a pajsengar
In air automobile containing jive
other persons, which collided with
one. driven by Wiley JB.-Rogerson,
fire chief of Robersdnville. ,

ley Seymour of near Grif ton, who
is in a Klnston hospital with n
fractured -hip; Clayton Strpud of
Deep Run, who recently was dis
missed ; from a Kinston hospital
with a fractured neck vertebrae;
and Edward Stroud of Deep Bun,
a patient in Morehead City Hospi
tal with critical injuries. The two
others were Clifton Nobles of Deep
Run, who received minor injuries,
and a Parker girl of Deep Run,
who was not seriously hurt.
The Robersonville fire chief Was
not seriously hurt. It was reported.
Funeral services for that Nobles
youth were held Monday at A p. m.
from the home of bis brother, J..
Nobles of Deep Run,-wltlt whom
he resided. Interment was- in the'
Nobles cemetery nea Nobler Cross
