For twenty-four hours be a perfect person in every way. And I would like to live that day in a perfect world, of every man, woman, boy and girl. And when you smiled at someone you wouldn't receive a cool stare, and maybe sometimes even a cold-hearted glare; Instead, there woujd be a smile on every face, and no one would be rushing around in haste. I would like to live one perfect day amid a world that was happy and gay. Let the world slow down just a little bit It wouldn't hurt any one for lust one day to stop and quit all this hustle and bustle and running around. What does it get you, I ask, but a face with a frown. Pause for awhile ---- Be happy - smile. . Leave your troubles behind and let's wander up in the hills; Listen to the birds sing and pick daffodils; Watch the clouds as they drift by, and then lift up thine voice and cry All the world I'll give. If I may, to live again, one more per fect day. GERRY GAY. M.F.. ALLEN JR. General Insurance KENANSVILLE.N C. KBNANSyiLUrS ONLY INSURANCE-AGENCY J. M, JENKINS. Mgr. I1.
