Crevrolet sold a record -hrpntl no
total of 29,461 trucks during the
m-nth of October, 1947, which is
the most that has been reported in
any single previous month in Chev
rolet's 39-year history.
Production and sales have been
climbing steadily since the new
"advance-design" line of trucks was
first announced to the public last
June.. The previous record-breaking
month for truck sales was Junt
1941, when 28,367 commercial
units were sold.

either side of the punch bowl. Mrs

the cake after the bride and groom
cut the first slice. Mrs. E. V. Vestal
of Kenansville, poured lime punch
and bridal ices, nuts and mints
were served by Mrs. P. R-Steph-ens
of Kenansville.
