87, died Monday morning of last
week at the home of Mrs. W. P.
Kornegay with whom she had been
living for the past year. She had
been ill for six months and critic
ally 111 for several days. Funeral
services were held at the home on
Tuesday at 11 o'clock with the Bey.
H. C. Chester, pastor of the Mt
Olive Methodist Church in charge.
Burial was In the Southeriand fam
ily cemetery. Mrs. Taylor was the
daughter of the late Isham Souther
land and Fannie Denmark Souther--land
of this county and was the
widow of James W. Taylor whl died
in 1919. She was a member of the
Rones Chapel Methodist Church.
Surviving are one step-daughter,
Mrs. W. p. Kornegay, several nieces
and nephews.
