Injured Thursday morning while
underpenning a house on the farm
of Fred Williams near Pink HW.
His iniuries included a broken leg
and a fractured hip. An ambulance
was called and he was rushed to
a Kinston hospital but was later
transferred to Rex Hospital in Ral
eigh where his daughter, Miss
Dorothy Oates, a registered nurse,
is employed.
