Whereat: In the death of Mrs. Lillian Murray Murphy, May 24, 1948, the community has lost a valued and esteemed citizen and the cause of Christ has lost a loyal follower of the Master; and In life ' of Mrs. Lillian Murray Murphy it was the privilege of those who knew her to observe an example of Godly living and deep humility of heart, a woman of high principles and pure ideals. . - Lilllam Murray Murphy was tae daughter of the late Obed William Murray and Martha Levenia Carr of Duplin County. Second, that we extend our heartfelt sympathy to her husband, Thomas O. Murphy; the following , children, Mrs. B. M. Williams, Mrs. ' H. A. TopeV Mrs. J. A. Rackley, Mrs. S. B. Kelley, E. M. Investi gation was-made after farmers re ported dead fish of various kinds and sizes floating down the stream. WSCS Meet Jointly The three circles of the WSCS met together on Tuesday and Wed nesday evening for their regular mission study. Mrs. C JB. Best pre sided on Tuesday evening. Mrs. H. R. Hipp led the devotional and Mrs. C. F. Carroll taught the mission book. On Wednesday evening Mrs. G. P .Pridgen led the devotional and Mesdames J. C. Thompson and M. A.
