How Banks Speed Up
Comunity
Prosperity
A man working alone with a forked stick
or a hoe can turn up a few rows of earth
for seeding.
A man wUh a horse and a steel plow
can do a hundred tomes as much work;
while a .nan with a tractor can turn np
a thousand time as much land.
In the same way a bank enables a com
munity to make faster and more produc
tive use of its circulating dollars. A bank,
therefore, is a powerful piece of modenr
machinery which directly contributes
-
to the welfare and progress of the people
it serves.
