The guests numbering about 45 assem bled at 7:30 and after several games and contests prizes were awarded to William Stroud, Jr. and Mrs. C. A. Davis. A weiner roast followed. Guests included Mrs. I. J. How ard, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Smith uf Pink Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Johnson of Kinston. Smith at her home Saturday night, August 21. Sandwiches, cookies and coca colas were served. About 60 guests attended. Baseball Pink Hill defeated Cove City 14 to 8 in the baseball game played at Cove City Sunday afternoon. for the past three years. SSgt. Schneider is a native of Newark, N. J. The couple are re siding at Ft. Belvoir where the groom is stationed.
