What Can I Buy For A Dollar ?
f -
The answer to this question will be given In Rose Hill on Friday and Saturday.
September twenty-fourth and twenty-fifth.
The entire mercantile community of Rose Hill has decided to give to their
customers, and visitors, the benefits of a COMMUNITY DOLLAR DAY.S On these
days there will be bargains of every description for everybody. These bargains will not
consist of shop-worn and hard-to-sell merchandise. They will-be useful, new articles
that you buy every day. Furthermore, they will be priced at cost or in some instances,
less than cost. The entire mercantile community is cooperating in this program and
you will be able to find OUTSTANDING bargains in every store you visit.
You are perhaps wondering why this is being done. The reason is simply that
we want you and your neighbors to visit us in Rose Hill. We want you to compare
the quality and prices of our merchandise with the quality and prices you find in
other 'towns. We want you to observe the demeanor and attitude of our clerking
personnel. We feel that our clerks, our prices and the quality of our merchandise, will
compare favorably with those 'you flnif elswire.
Now. we realize that, in order to convince you of these facts it will be nec
essary for you to visit our mercantile community. Therefore, we are supporting our
beliefs with a DOLLAR DAYS PROGRAM. We want you to come to Rose Hill, take
advantage of the bargains available on DOLLAR DAYS, and at the same time care
fully study our attempts to satisfy you, both as to quality and price. Incklontly. this
DOLLAR DAYS PROGRAM is to be an annual program, possibly semi-annual.
You have observed, in recent years, thai Rose Hill possesses a splendid com
munity and civic spirit; witness, our street paving program, our Community Club
House, our continuing and sustaining interest in our school program: in fact, we are
trying to make Rose Hill and the surrounding rural, community a better Dlace in
which to live.
Wiht all the above in view, don't fail to attend the DOLLAR DAYS PROGRAM
Friday and Saturday, September 24th and 25th. The stores will be open until nine
o'clock at night on these days and on Friday night, the 24th, we will have a Street
Dance on two streets. One will be a square dance and the other, a round dance.
Good music will be furnished at both places and we want you to enjoy this good
fellowship with vs. And another thing, FREE LEMONADE will be available to every
one during the dance.
Bear in mind that EVERY MERCHANT in the community is cooperating in
this program. Therefore, there will be a bargain, or more, for EVERYBODY at the
COMMUNITY DOLLAR DAYS PROGRAM in Rose Hill on FRIDAY and SATURDAY,
SEPTEMBER 24th-and 25th.
This is ourinvitation to you. Ve want you to come and participate in making
these days a success, for you and for us. Be sure and plan to be here.
