Southern cattle producers increas ed their marketings of cattle and calves with strenethenine Drices but the movement of hogs dropped off about 25 despite substantial price recoveries from earlier de clines. Generally prices were '50 cents to $1 a hundred higher than last week and hog prices were 75 cents to $2, mainly $1.50 a hundred. Broiler markets were weak and unsettled, with prices unchanged to lower. Carlot shipments of fresh fruits and vegetables were very light. Flue-cured' tobacco prices turned downward this week. Endof season sales of lower grade eased off in price, and a smaller volume of sales in the Middle Belt had the lowest average in nearly a month.
