Seven Springs, who was killed in action at Anzio, Italy, February 16, 1944, were conduct ed from Outlaw's Bridge Univer salist church Sunday, Nov. 28 at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev, L. C. Prater, pastor, with full military honors at the graveside. . Arrangements were made by the Simmons, Mewborn, Turner Ppst of the American Legion of Seven Springs. He is survived by the parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Simmons of Goldsboro; two brothers, Leroy of Seven Springs and Garland of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. The body arrived at a Goldsboro Funeral Home where it remained until the hour of the funeral. -V, Rodney Coward, 35, of Goldsboro Rt. 3, died In the VA Hospital at Oteen Sunday of last week. Funer al services were held from St. John's Church on the Seven Springs road the following Tues day at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Mr. Breaman officiating. Burial was in Pineview Cemetery. Surviving are two brothers, H. B. of Goldsboro, Rt. 3, and Jack of Seven Springs. Southern Farm .
