Mrs. Linwood Turner received a prize for .hlfih score, Mrs. Levi Everett, one for second high, while Miss Narcie; Williams won consola tion prize. Mrs. Graham Turner re ceived the floating prize and Mrs. C. C. Jones the prize for bingo.-' The hostess served potato chips, ice cream with bananas and whip ped cream, coca colas and cookies. Cake Walk Rodney Hicks was winner of the sake in a cake walk conducted at regular chapel period at the school Friday afternoon. The cake walk was sponsored by the 11th grade. Study Course Held The WS of CS conducted a study course on Wednesday and Thurs day nights of last week at th homes of Mrs. W. H. Jones and Mrs. L. H. Turner. Military honors were given by the Willard Smith Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the rites . were conducted by Post Chaplain N. P. Farrier, Pres byterian minister. The deceased was the son of the late Hampton and Mrs. Gertrude Smith of SmHr Township. Survivors include three brothers, Johnson and Herman of Pink Hill and Roscoe of Barium Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Harold Capps of Cherry Point, and Mrs. Prentis Smith and Helen Smith of IU. 2. Students Pay Visit To Capital The 7th garde pupils of the '2 F Grady High School visited the city of Raleigh this week making a tour of principal places of lntTeit. Mrs, An drew Miller had charge of the re creation after which the hostess served attractive plates of sand' wiches, cherry tarts topped with whipped cream, toasted pecans, and coffee.
