Mrs. Humber Merritt has return ed from a Fayetteville hospital. Mrs. P. H. Lanier has returned from the Goldsboro Hospital where she underwent an operation last week. She is getting along nicely. The condition of Mrs. J. K. Wil liamson, who has been quite ill, remains the same. Slight improvement is noted in the condition of Frank McGowan. who has been confined to his bed .at his home near Kenansville. Mrs. Harry Pridgen, who has been ill at her home on W.
