- Mrs. Emerson Jones was hostess
on Tuesday, April' 19 entertaining
her club and ' several additional
guests. Three tables were In play

Clarke and traveling to Mrs. L. It.
Albertson. Each received a hand
crocheted handkerchief. During
play cheezles and coca colas were
served and at the conclusion straw
berry shortcake was served.

Mrs. George Penney entertained
her club and several of the gram
mar school teachers on Tuesday
afternoon, April 19, when she en
tertalned at three tables in her at
tractively 'decorated living and
dining rooms. Upon arrival guests
were served a tempting pjear salad
with tea and after several prog
ressions Mrs. Allen Draughoir re
ceived scoffs for high award, Mrs.
Robert Blackmore, china shoes for
second and Mrs. L. S. Whittle for
low received a cranberry ash tray.
