A mem ber of the Sharon Baptist Church In Chinquapin for 40 year3, he was a life long resident of this county, engaging in extensive farming. Fu neral services were conducted from the. home Thursday at 4 p.m. by the Rev. N. E. Gresham, assisted by the! Rev.' Mr. Garvey .of Chinqua pin, Burial followed in the family cemetery near the home.
