After the sewing bee, Mrs. E. C. Tyndall assisted the hostess in serving ice cream and assorted homemade cookies. , " Dessert Bridge L.ist Thursday afternoon Mrs. P. J. Dobson entertained her bridge club. Arrangements of summer flowers were used throughout the house. The hostess assisted by Mrs. D. S. Williamson served pineapple whip and pound cake. During the games salted nuts and drinks were served. Mrs. N. B. Boney was high scorer. Konlracf Klub Wednesday evening of last week Mrs. F. W. McGowen entertained the Kontract Klub in her home which was decorated in mixed sum mer flowers with purple daliahs predominating. Mrs. Vance Gavin won high score, Mrs. D. H. McKay won second. Mrs. J. O. Stokes as sisted Mrs. McGowen in serving ice cream float. Salted nuts were served during play. Personals Mrs. Li. Soulherland, Lawrence and Mary Beth spent Sunday in Fayetteville.
