Mrs. Lanier is the former Miss Ella Mae Casteen of Burgaw. Town Meeting On Monday night Aug. 22 a meet ing of the town board and repre sentatives of local club was held for the purpose of making plans to raise money for an advertisement in the book to be published In con nection with "The Duplin Story" pageant and to discuss other nec essary arrangements. The amount required to be raised is $100.00. All donations are being collected by the chairman of the appaolnted committee foi raising the fund. Mayor S. P. Bostic.
