Brogden, died at her home in Calypso Monday, afternoon after a long Illness. She had-spent most of her life there and was the oldest member of the Calypso Meth odist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Erma Byrd of Mt. Olive, Una Brogden of Calypso, and Mrs. L. W. Umstead of Garner; two sons, L. L. Jennette of Calypso and Roy O. Brogden of Arlington, Va.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral ser vices were conducted Tuesday after noon at 3 o'clock from the Calypso Methodist Churett by -Rev. A. L.
