Mrs. George Cowan donated the
cake which was auctioned to the
highest bidder, Ralph Miller, for
the sum of $3.50. -
Little Billie Miller, son of Mr.
and Mrs. W. J. Miller, was the win
ner of the. baby contest and was
awardboV a silver spoon and fork.
Miss Faye Kennedy, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kennedy, was
presented a silver bracelet in the
elementary grade as winner.
The High School popularity
queen was Miss Mattie Frances
Kennedy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Kennedy and was present
ed a rhinestone necklace and ear
bobs. 1
The festival was highly success
ful, and profits made were over
$450.00.

Halloween
" Mrs. Louise Mitchell entertained
her Sunday School Class Saturday
evening at a weiner roast. The chil
dren: enjoyed roasting welners,
and marshmallows in the yard of
her home. Favors ware also given
the children. After the roast, Mrs.
E. W. Sadler accompanied Mrs.
Mitchell in taking the children' on
a house to house Halloween jaunt.
