MARKET REPORT TOBACCO Tobacco prices worked lower dur ing the week at flue-cure ' markets. Middle and Old Belt markets repor ted drops of $1 to $3 in the bulk of grades offered. LIVESTOCK AND MEATS Hog prices declined around $1 per hundred at Raleigh buying sta tions and closed with top hogs re turning local producers $16 to $16. 25. Cattle prices ranged about stea dy to slightly stronger on auction markets. A few medium good butch er steers brought $18 to $20 and Rocky Mount. POULTRY AND EGGS Fryers and broilers held steady at 28 to mostly 29 cents f.o.b. the farm. Heavy hens 22 to 23; torn turkeys, 28; and turkey hens, ,38. Eggs were generally steady. Ral eigh's grading stations paid 56 cents per dozen for A, large; Ashe- ville, 53, to 55; and Charlotte, 50. For further information consult Post master at Warsaw, N. C. Prominent Calypso Citizen Dies James D. Cameron 63, of Caly pso died Monday at 12:30 a.m. at his home after a long illness. Sur viving are Mrs. Cameron; two sons, John D. of Miami, Fla., and Paul of the Canal Zone. Funeral services were held from the home with Rev. Murphy Smith in charge. Burial was in the Cameron-Lambert fam ily cemetery near Calypso. On Sunday evening at 6:30 Mr. Calypso and a Mason with member ship- in the Mt Olive lodge. James C. Tyler Dies At Wallace James Carr. Tyler, 33, died sud denly at his home in WallacV on Monday of a heart attack! Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Wallace Presbyter ian Church with burial in Rock fish Cemetery. Mr. Tyler was a veteran of World War II and ser ved in the Canal Zone and Pacific theatre. Born at Delway, he had resided in Wallace for sometime. He was employed by the Depart ment of Agriculture in Clinton and was a fanner. Surviving are 'his wife, the former Lucille Daniels of Texas; and his father, J. A.Tyler of Delway.
