. . . v ; : inside The Heart
"'. There Is a little organ of the body ' p '
That has the strangest job; ,
It helps to let us know of you,
Whether you be, a friend or snob.-,
Not only has it this to do, '
But a million other things;
. . If it be choosing your pleasures,- .
Or warming to the bell that rings.
The heart handles a difficult task.
One that no other "part of the body can take.
It chooses from the people of the world, '
Those you are to love and to hate.
No mere fluttering object,
This thing of continuous motidn, .
Responds to a wordtpf gratitude,
That is filledwith a flood of devotion.
What goes on inside the heart?
You know as well as I, .
For no one knows for sure.
The real what or why.
Tucked away in your heart,
Way down deep and low,
Are memories you cherish, fervently,
And always will, I know.
You and I have our secrets,
That we ponder in our hearts.
Some of them cause us worry,
But of us, they must remain a part.
The heart beats as time passes,
But neither the heart or time will tell.
The things guarded and treasured the dearest;
That are locked in that queer little cell.
Marcla M. Scott.

You may wash nylon garments in
your washer. Use warm water. We
recommend a mild soap or deter
gent and use a water softener if
your water is hard. Put fragile
items such as- hosiery, slips, and
panties into a bag or pillow-slip
before putting in the washer. Rinse
nylons thoroughly.
. Do not put nylons through the
wringer or you will find it necess
ary to iron them. Merely shake
them and hang them out straight.
They will dry in Jiffy time.
Some nylons may have to have
a light going over. They look best
if ironed when damp, so fold them
in a towel after they are washed to
retain moisture, then iron them as
soon as possible. Set your control
