last Saturday afternoon from 4 til

Dessert Bridge'
Mrs. N. B. Boney entertained the
Thursday evening Bridge Club at
her home on Thursday evening of

vors the hostess gave red and white
candy canes. Prior to the games
she served fruit jello with whipped
cream and topped with a cherry,
star shaped cookies and coffee. Mrs.

score prize. Mrs. A. B .Bland won

Circles Meet
The Ella Cooper Circle met on
Monday night with Mrs. Hubert
Phillips. Thirteen members and on
visitor were present. Miss Dora
Betty Dixon was in charge of the
meeting. Mrs. Colon Holland was
in charge of the program. "Christ
the Answer for the World". Follow
ing the meeting the members en
joyed a Christmas party with an
exchange of gifts. At that time
Mi?? Dixon, bride-elect, was given
a surprise miscellaneous shower.
The hostess served fruit cake with
whipped cream, nuU and drinks.
Circle No. 1 of Grove Presbyter
ian Church met Monday afternoon
in the home of Mrs. W. J. Pickett,
chairman of the circle. Mrs. Ralph
Brown, assisted by Mrs. L. Sou
therland, was in charge of the pro
gram. Bible study was taken from
the Book of John. At the close of
the meeting Mrs. Pickett assisted by
Miss Martha Pickett, served a
sweet course.
