Mr. C. H. Trueblood
Enters Second Year
March 15th marked the close of
the first year of work for Rev. C.
Herman Trueblood, as Missionary
Field Warker for the Eastern Bap
tist Association. The Association In
composed of 38 churches, and near
ly 8,000 church members. Most of
the churches are located are loca
ted in Duplin and Sampson coun
ties, with a few in Wayne county.
Mr. Trueblood's work consists of
aiding the churches by conducting
study courses, assisting in Dally
Vacation Bible Schools, supplying
vacant pulpits, holding individual
and group conferences, holding re
vival meetings, planning mission
ary programs, keeping the pastors
and churches informed about de
nominational activities and In pro
moting the work of the Baptist
State and Southern Baptist Con
vention, as well as the particular
work of the Eastern Association.
He is also available for the forma
tion for new mission points, or the
establishment of new churches,
whenever, and wherever the oppor
tunity presents itself. Mr. True
blood recently opened and office
in Warsaw, upon the authority of
the Executive Committee of the
Association. The office is located
over the Warsaw Drug Store, and
Mr. Trueblood invites pastors, of
ficers and members of the church
es, to visit him in the office for
any service that he may be able to
render.
