The Institute, now in its 3rd year of operation, offers funda mental training in various fields and attracts students from all sec tions of the State and from many parts of the nation. All of the 'courses conducted are one-years in leneth. These photographs show graduates of the Institute at work in the fields in which they deciaea to sDecialize. Roger D. Keimaimsvnilfle News BIRTHDAY PARTY On Monday night the Women of Grove Church held their annual May party in the Sunday School building. Mrs. J. A. Gavin presided over the business assisted by Mrs. N. B. Boney. Miss Martha Pickett gave a short discussion on two pro jects which are "Student Work In Colleges" and "Endowment for chair of Bible for Tex-Mex Insti tute." Mrs. L. Southerland had charge of devotional closing. Fol lowing business a social hour was enjoyed. Arrangement of mixed flowers and party accessories in pastel colors were used. Mesdames J. A .Hines and L. Southerland served cake and coffee. GIRL SCOUTS The local Girl Scout Troop held their regular meeting Thursday of last week at the lodge building. Lois Caison presided, assisted by Scribe Sarah West Outlaw. Mrs. N. B. Boney assisted in songs and games. SEWING CLUB Mrs. A. T. Outlaw entertained the Sewing Club Wednesday af ternoon of last week. After the sewing bee the hostess assisted by Mrs. E. A. Newton served Ice cream float and cookies. ' CARD CLUB Mrs. W. J.Pickett entertamed the Thursday Afternoon Card Club at Dessert Bridge. ' Prior to the games the hostess served strawber ry shortcake. During progressions salted nuts and drinks were ser ved. Club high score winner was Mrs. N. B. Bbney and Mrs. C. B.
