The topic Is "Christus Emperor". CIRCLES Circle No. 1 of the WMS met in the home of Mrs. Sidney Hunter Monday night. Mrs. James Thomas was in charge of the program and Mrs. Hunter was in charge of the devotional. There were 7 members present. At the conclusion the hos tess served a salad plate. The Presbyterian Women held their annual Birthday Party in the church last Tuesday night Mrs. Robert Matthews was in charge of the program. Devotional was given by Mrs. Charlton Sandlin. The of fering was taken for Presbyterian colleges and Tex-Mex School. There was reports from special Commit tees after which a social hour was enjoyed under the direction of Mrs. Gardner Edwards and Mrs. Harry Home and Mrs. Maurice Jackson. A chicken salad plate with punch, homemade cookies and candies were served to the 20 members and 3 visitors present. 93 ATTEND BIBLE SCHOOL A Daily Vacation Bible School began at Cabin Free Will Baptist Church the 29th of May and con tinued through the 2nd of June. The enrollemnt was 93, with 11 in the senior class. Teachers were Mrs. Walter Rhodes and Mrs. Frank Rhodes. We called this the Mer cer class, because all were Mercers except one. Teachers were Mercefs before their marriage. It was a very helpful and en joyable week. We had a very nice commencement and supper to mark the closing which was divided into 5 classes, beginners, primary, jun iors, intermediates and seniors. There was an enrollment of 27 in the beginners class. The teachers were ' Mrs. Norwood Norris and Mrs. Bland Nobles. Enrollment in the primary class was 24; teachers were Mrs. Roland Calahan and Mrs. Ottis Miller. Enrollment in the junior class was 21, and the teachers were Mrs. Roland Thomas and Mrs. Foy Ken nedy.
