and Mrs. Lee Smith of Albertson.

CLAY VERNON HILL
Clay Vernon Hill, 37, the son of
the late Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Hill of
Deep Run, died Saturday night at
Chapel Hill where he made his
home. The funeral was candilcted
at 3 p.m. Tuesday from the Deep
Run Free Will Baptist Church with
Mormon rites. Surviving are his
wife, Betty Heath Hill; three dau
ghters and five sons, all of the
home; five sisters, Mrs. Frank Hall
of Aurora; Mrs. Joseph Sauls of
near Goldsboro and Mrs. Ivey Da
vis, Mrs. Fred Hill and Mrs. Harvey
Grady of Deep Run; four brothers,
C. S. Hill and Coy Hill of Jackson
ville, Arden Hill of Richmond and
