the r J. L uljuj O (ill V. F. W. Auxiliary Holds District Meeting A District meeting of the Vet erans of Foreign Wars was held Sunday at the VFW Rut In Pink Hill. The guest speaker was Otis N. Brown of Greensboro, National Post Commander in chief of the VFW. A session of the Auxiliary was held in the dining hall of the Pink Hill school. ' Mr. Brown, in his remarks said, there were 19,000,000 men now eligible for the VFW membership and less than 5 per cent were ac tive members. He said if they would organize they could control the destiny of this country.
