Parker of The Lost Colony during the current season has been named to succeed him in that post. Parker resigned due to the pressure of other business. ; Hardy has had several years ex perience in drama. He has been active in Carolina Playmaker acti vities and Duke Players since 1946. He was an officer in the submarine service during World War II and is a native of Norfolk, Va. For the past several years he has made his home in the Chapel Hill and Dur ham areas. . Parker has accepted the Jab of general manager for the show on a temporary basis.
