Davis of Pink H1U, died in a local hospital at 5 p.m. Sunday after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at the Pink Hill Meth odist Church Monday at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. Tom Horner. Burial followed in Davis Cemetery near old Pink Hill. She Is survived by her husband; four sons, Carl Ray of Elizabeth City, W. Harold of Kinston, Cpl. Cecil Davis, sta tioned at Ft. Benning, Ga., and Howard of the home;- two daugh ters, Mrs. William Clark of Pink Hill and Mrs Lawrence Johnson of Kinston; her mother, Mrs. Bert ie Howard of Pink Hill; two bro thers, Eddie and Earl both of Pink Hill; one sister, Mrs. Ben Smith of Pink Hill; and five grandchildren.
