Mr. Pike presented the char ter to the club's charter president, Mrs. Thomas Hollowell. The Calypso club was organized under the sponsorship of the Golds boro club of which Mrs. John W. Southerland is president. She pre sented the new club a scrapbook, gift of the sponsors. Serving with Mrs. Hollowell are Mrs. Needham Sloan, first vice president; Mrs. M. J. Lambert, Jr., secretary; Mrs. Johnnie Albritton, treasurer; Mrs. Phelton Sloan, Lion est tamer, Mrs. Carl Morgan, track er; Mrs. William Best, tail twister.
